How to use Ezi Transmog Exporter

Follow these steps to display your WoW character's transmog as a rotating 3D model and export it as a GIF for sharing on Reddit, Discord, or anywhere else.

1
Install the Narccissus addon
Narccissus is a free addon that adds a beautiful character viewer to WoW and lets you export your gear list. Install it from CurseForge using the CurseForge app, or download it manually.
📦 Narccissus on CurseForge →
Tip: After installing, restart WoW and enable the addon at the character select screen under AddOns.
2
Set up your transmog look!
In the Narccissus viewer, your character is shown with their current equipped gear and transmog. If you want to preview a different look, use the in-game dressing room or transmogrifier to set up your outfit first, then open Narccissus.
Tip: Narccissus shows exactly what your character looks like right now — including all active transmog overrides.
3
Open the Narccissus dressing room
Once in game, look for the Narccissus minimap icon — a small portrait button near your minimap. Right-click it and open up the Dressing Room.
Alternative: You can also type /narccissus in chat to open the viewer directly.
4
Export your gear string
In the Dressing Room window you just opened up, look for the Export button on the bottom right of the Dressing Room. Before clicking it, make sure the IDs checkbox is checked — this includes the item ID numbers in the export which Ezi Transmog Exporter needs to look up your gear.

Once the IDs checkbox is enabled, click Export and copy the entire string to your clipboard.
The exported string should look like this (with numbers after each item name):

Head: Broken Ram Skull Helm 50640 (Lady Deathwhisper...)
Chest: Gendarme's Cuirass 50606 (Lord Marrowgar...)
...
Important: If the exported string does not have numbers after the item names, the IDs checkbox was not enabled. Re-export with IDs checked.
5
Paste into Ezi Transmog Exporter
Switch to the Viewer tab. Fill in your Character Name and Region, then select your Race and Body Type from the dropdowns.

Paste your exported gear string into the Gear String box and click ⚔ Load Character.
6
View, rotate and export
Your character will load in 3D with all their gear. Use the controls at the bottom of the model:
  • ↻ Auto-Rotate — starts auto-rotation for a full 360° spin
  • ⌖ Reset — resets the camera angle
To export a GIF: In the left panel under Import, choose your settings and click 🎬 Record. The character will auto-rotate while recording. When done, click ✨ Convert to GIF in the preview modal to generate a GIF directly in your browser — no external tools needed!
7
Switching gear appearance variants
Some items have multiple appearance variants — for example, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic versions of the same piece that look slightly different. After your character loads, check the Equipment panel on the right.

Any item that has variants will show a ● N variants badge next to the item name. Click the item row to open the variant picker.
Variant picker: A popup will show all available appearances for that item as icons. Click any icon to instantly swap the item's appearance on the 3D model. The change is live — no need to reload.
Saving variants: If you save a loadout while a variant is selected, that variant choice gets saved too. Loading the loadout later will restore the exact appearance you had selected.
Tip: Variants are fetched from Wowhead after the character loads, so the badges may appear a few seconds after the model is visible. If you don't see any variant badges, the item only has one appearance.
